Here I educate you on financial aid, scams, the most generous colleges, subsidized and unsubsidized loans, strategies for getting the most money for the best education, bad-value colleges, how to pick a college education that will give your student the best shot at not returning home to live with you.
I schedule them when and where you want (it takes an hour). Boot camps can be at my home, your home, any coffee shop or library. I allow up to 5 parents to share the expense, so make it a party!
$150.00 = US COLLEGE LAB INDIVIDUALIZED STUDENT ASSESSMENT (Grandparents with legal custody of grandchildren are FREE as my schedule allows.)
All the consult information, plus I conduct a detailed interview-based evaluation with your student. This assessment takes into consideration things like faith, work ethic, talents, gifts, challenges, family, friendship formation and emotional maturity in addition to the basics of academics, test scores and high school activities. It takes about an hour.
I do an oral evaluation for two reasons. First, I can meet your student and tailor questions accordingly. Second, students tend to write the bare-minimum to written questions. I don’t want the bare-minimum. I want the most I can get in order to give you a realistic and doable list of colleges to visit!
